The Duramax 6.6L LML and Colorado 2.8L LWN also have this limited-function DEF level sensor.
Upgrading from the stock intake airbox to either a cold air intake or a resonator delete is always a good option. The resonator delete improves airflow, but by a small amount. These parts are used for a little increase in sound, airflow, and engine dressing while using the stock airbox.
